 buying a home can be exciting and scary at the same time . You never know exactly what you are getting until you lived there a while.You just have to hope that you do not find out too late that you made a mistake!

One way to help minimize that problem is to have the home inspected by an experienced Home inspector , He will help you uncover many of the potential problems so you can be sure you are making the right decission. If major problems are uncoverd ,you can make an informed decission as to whether or not this is the home  for you.

Will a Home inspector guarantee that you will not have any problems? NO. Nobody can guarantee that every potential problem will be discovered , Some latent defects will not be ready seen by any inspector. there is also the possibility that an item the inspector test will perform as expected during the inspection but fail shortly after that . has your car ever failed to start and stranded you some place ? It ran fine on the way but some thing failed after you stopped.

Does this means that  an inspector is a waste of time  ? Again the answer is NO. A thorough home inspection will ancover many of the things you din't see that would end up costing you a lot of money to repair later.Also .many times there are indication that a water Heater or air conditoner are getting ready to replacement , With new exceptions ,the inspections will uncover potential or actual problems that will save you much more that the cost of the inspection.
